Bonified Seattle girl, born and raised. I grew up deep sea fishing, and frequenting the kingdome. If I am not shooting a subject, you can find me somewhere with coffee in hand, with a gaggle of kids in tow. I am married to a darling man, Yodi, who smells amazing, and mom to three little kiddos (Travis, Olive and Hazel). Friday nights are homemade pizza, popcorn, and mommy and daddy’s bed, all five of us. It is the highlight of our week. We also have a wacky dog named Wyatt the Wirehair who keeps us on our toes. We like to spend our weekends sleeping in a treehouse that my husband built in the cascade mountains.
Some random facts about me:
I have had more casts than cavities. I have never seen Star Wars. I was in the air on 9-11. I once took a large group of people to Brazil for plastic surgery. I’ve jumped off a 4000 ft cliff in Switzerland attached to a giant kite (hang-gliding). I’m afraid of heights… and spiders. I moved to Spain alone without speaking a word of Spanish. I’ve been a mile underground in a gold mine. I once rescued a squirrel that was hit by a car and took it to a doctor friend who made him a wheel chair.

I am a wedding and portrait photographer. My home studio in North Seattle is where I capture the beautiful brides, boudoir, and women’s’ portraiture alike.
When it comes to weddings, I work together with my husband Yodi. The perspective of a married couple, photographing a wedding is one you cannot replicate. Yodi has a nack for getting groomsmen to laugh and feel natural. He’s also a total schmoozer with the grandparents, and other relatives.
We aim to give our clients what we were given, which is an experience. Our work should speak for itself, but what really makes us who we are is the way we do weddings together. Our mission is to capture amazing images for you. I will hold your train, laugh with you, get dirty, and make you smile sincerely. Yodi will make you laugh, lend you his sunglasses, and help your great aunt into her seat. We have a purpose – to lovingly capture who you are.
We would love to meet you, and start learning about your story.
why.we.are.awesome. …..
We’re married – we’ve actually been there. We know.
We get that shot of grandma laughing
We’re not the paparazzi, and we don’t take over your wedding day. (We are like discreet ninjas.)
Amber is a pro at pinning dresses or boutonnieres – (I had to look up how to spell boutonnieres)
We’ll photograph the shoes…. but we really focus on the connections. Hugs, glances, laughter, tears… EMOTION! We love a bride who dismisses the norm and does things her way.
