Today I bring you Derek and Andrea’s backyard wedding in Bothell. Derek and Andrea have known each other since high school. Andrea is a sweet, sincere and beautiful lady. She has the biggest smile and kindest eyes. Derek is a perfect match for her, with his jovial presence and genuine nature. Their home is warm and inviting, just like them. The perfect place for them to commit to one another amongst their loved ones.

The ceremony took place on the front lawn, where they stood in front of the beautiful trees, and above them hung the word LOVE. It was perfectly simple and classy.

After the tearful ceremony guest followed Andrea and Derek to the backyard, where fountains and forest made it feel like a romantic oasis.

Andrea and her dear friend made the bouquets, a gorgeous collection of bright sunflowers and jewel toned blossoms. They wrote their own vows, which were tearful. Everything about their day was simple and heartfelt. My favorite part? They were barefoot, as were their children, wedding party, and the officiant! It was lovely.
